May Day! May Day! It’s a new mixtape drop for the soundtrack to your Spring + Summer 2019 adventures. There have been some fantastic music releases since my last compilation. I’m absolutely loving Cherry Glazerr’s new album, Stuffed and Ready. In fact, I included not 1 but 2 songs here, which I rarely do. Be sure to check it out and let me know what you think.
I’m crossing my fingers and toes that Tame Impala releases a new album later this year. Their two singles, Patience and Borderline are right up my alley. Some new to me bands on this mix include: MorMor (I’ve had his song Outside on repeat- LOVE LOVE LOVE!), girl in red(a 20 yr. old super talented Norwegian), Aldous Harding (NZ singer-songwriter with a cool, French vibe), TV Girl (LA based indie pop) and Anemone (a psych-pop group out of Montreal). Then of course there are my usual faves like: Broken Bells, Cut Copy, Wild Nothing, Karen O + Danger Mouse, Mitski, Foals, Kevin Morby, Men I Trust, Kurt Vile, LCD Soundsystem, Jai Wolf + Day Wave, and Big Thief.
Happy Listening!

Oh boy have I dropped the ball in terms of posting what I’d hoped to this summer. Alas, while there may be no time for me to sit at my computer right now, I can give you one thing… some new summer jams. And maybe that’s all you really need!
If you’re in need of some new music to take you into the weekend, look no further. In spite of all that has been going on politically, I really feel that art and music always manage to thrive in the midst of chaos.
Hello strangers! Thought I’d pop in with a little gift of music for the holidays. I know I always say this, but I really hope to find more time for this neglected space in the new year. (once my little monkey is in preschool!) Until then, here’s what I’ve been listening to recently…
